I can’t describe how much our world has completely changed in the last 7 days. One week ago tonight our son joined our family. It was kind of a traumatic entrance, for me anyway, one that I plan to share soon. For now, I’m recovering from a c-section and reveling in new mom-ness. I’ll be back as soon as I can.
Until then, I’m so proud and excited to introduce Asher William, born September 17th at 11:49 p.m. weighing in at 9 pounds, 4 ounces and 20 inches long. He’s perfect in every way.
Asher is a Hebrew name meaning fortunate, blessed; happy.
I can’t believe he’s ours.

So funny.. tonight.. I was sitting here just watching tv and all of a sudden I thought.. Asher.. hmm.. I think I like that. (I’m 28 weeks with a little boy!) I replayed the name over and over again in my head. I was pretty surprised to see you named him Asher! Love it..

It seems every month I ‘meet’ another Asher. When I had my Asher over 5 1/2 years ago, I didn’t ‘know’ any babies with that name.
